Ms. George’s Educational Background
Catherine attended Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania, graduating in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health and a minor in Political Science. As a senior at Saint Francis, Catherine completed an internship with the Cambria County Public Defender Office, which began both her legal career and her commitment to obtaining justice for vulnerable members of the community.
Catherine earned her Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law (now Duquesne Kline School of Law) in 2022. While in law school, Catherine served as the Director of Social Media and Outreach of the Appellate Moot Court Board. Catherine competed in national appellate advocacy competitions, earning a semifinalist finish and multiple individual accolades. She was also active in the Public Interest Law Association, Health Law Society, and Criminal Law Society.
During her second year of law school, Catherine served as a certified legal intern in the Youth Advocacy Clinic at Duquesne, where she represented Pittsburgh youths in education and criminal matters. While in law school, Catherine also served as an intern for the Allegheny County District Attorney Office Crimes Against Persons Unit, and as a judicial intern to Judge Marilyn J. Horan of the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Upon graduation from law school, Catherine was inducted into the National Order of Barristers for demonstrating exceptional skill in oral advocacy and brief writing. Catherine received the Lynette Norton Memorial Award and the Shalom Moot Court Award, both for excellence in academics and appellate moot court competitions.
Prior to joining Senior Justice Law Firm, Catherine worked for a year at a national law firm specializing in nursing home abuse and neglect cases. She is passionate about continuing to help families affected by elder abuse and neglect as they seek justice.
Catherine is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, and she is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. She regularly accepts cases involving bed sores, patient falls, malnourishment, dehydration, and wrongful death inside Pennsylvania nursing homes.
Outside of work, Catherine enjoys trivia, travelling, and crocheting. She is a loyal fan of the Pittsburgh Panthers and has a Siamese cat named Wasabi.
