Complaint Regarding Deficiencies Dated 10/2/2018 at Finish American Rest Home
At an unannounced complaint survey, AHCA found that the facility had not obtained its Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan approval letter which it is required to do on an annual basis. The Administrator stated that he had submitted the plan in a timely manner for approval but had not received an approval letter yet. However, upon inspection of the relevant documents, AHCA found that the Division of Emergency Management stated in a letter than the facility had undergone the First Revision Review and could not be approved at that time.
Standard Statement of Deficiencies Dated 1/26/2018 at Finish American Village Assisted Living
AHCA cited Finnish American Village for failing to aid residents with self-administered medication as required by state regulations. AHCA inspectors found that one of the staff would signed the Medication Observation Records prior to the residents actually taking their medications.
