  • Failing to develop a care plan to address use and monitoring of a resident cardiac defibrillator
    • A resident had a defibrillator implanted by a local Fort Lauderdale, FL doctor. Part of the post-op care required that Manor Care of Plantation nurses check the resident’s pacemaker to make sure it is properly functioning. This was not done and Manor Care of Plantation was cited for resident neglect.
