It was alleged that during his residency, Orange City staff failed to appropriately adjust Mr. Bogart’s brace, resulting in a revision surgery of his patella.

Estate of Margarita Garcia vs. Orange City Nursing and Rehab Center

The Estate of Ms. Garcia filed this lawsuit against Orange City for nursing home negligence. In the Complaint, the Plaintiff alleges that Ms. Garcia was a fall risk, and that Orange City staff failed to appropriately prevent falls, resulting in a fractured left femur. Ms. Garcia underwent surgery for the hip fracture.

Estate of Normand Beland vs. Orange City Nursing and Rehab Center

The Estate of Normand Beland filed this lawsuit against Orange City Nursing, alleging that on or about June 18, 2014, the 83 year old wheelchair-bound Mr. Beland was admitted into the facility following a hospitalization for pneumonia. It is alleged that Mr. Beland suffered a preventable fall from his wheelchair resulting in a knee fracture on or about June 28, 2014.
