Avante at Boca Being ‘Watched’ by State of Florida Nursing Home Officials
Avante at Boca Raton was recently added to AHCA’s nursing home watchlist. The Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) has added Avante at Boca Raton to its nursing home watchlist due to repeated citations after state surveys and inspections. The 144 bed nursing home based in Boca Raton, Florida has been added after receiving citations and violations by the agency.
Care Deficiencies at Avante at Boca Nursing Home
Avante at Boca Raton was cited for deficiencies and fined on the following dates:
May 18 of 2016,
February 5 of 2016, and,
November 29 of 2015.
Previously, the Avante nursing home was added onto Florida’s watch list for violating the following Florida Statute and Admin Code:
400.141(1)(h) F.S. Maintain the facility premises and equipment and conduct its operations in a safe and sanitary manner. 59A-4.122(1) FAC The facility shall provide a safe, clean, comfortable, and homelike environment, which allows the resident to use his or her personal belongings to the extent possible.
