- Failing to create a plan for meeting a resident’s immediate needs within 2 days of admission to the nursing home.
- Failing to follow medication administration orders from doctors.
- Failing to properly monitor blood sugar and administer insulin.
- Failing to provide appropriate pressure ulcer and bedsore care to prevent wounds from forming.
- Numerous Heartland of North Sarasota residents were found to have pressure ulcers, bedsores and decubitus ulcers.
