March 24th, 2023, Inspection at Kei-Ai Los Angeles Healthcare Center

A complaint inspection occurred at Kei-Ai Los Angeles Healthcare Center after a resident reported to staff that one of the certified nursing assistants (CNAs) had been rough while changing her. According to the resident, the CNA forcefully changed the resident after the resident had refused care due to being in pain at the time. The resident was caused further pain by the CNA roughly changing her.

This February 2023 inspection at the facility revealed that staff had failed to administer antibiotic medications to a resident with a MRSA-infected abscess.
